Overview

Digital Amoeba is Corporate Innovation Lab by Telkom Indonesia that incubate and accelerate ideas from its employees which create digital innovation and digital talents.

Problem Statement

  • Users stop at the "Submit Idea" stage, not completing the journey to the investor dashboard.

  • Lack of understanding of how to attract investors.

Background

Idea Box is a crowdsourcing platform designed to gather and match innovative ideas with investors. From the analysis conducted, the total number of users has shown positive growth, with an increase of 7.7% from January to February and 8.7% from February to March 2022.

However, upon closer examination, the majority of Idea Box users are new users, accounting for 74%, while return users make up only 26%. This indicates that returning users are less inclined to revisit and use the Idea Box platform.

Further analysis of the funnel data revealed a significant drop, particularly during the stage where users receive a notification prompting them to check their email. Funnel data from March 2022 showed that the largest drop rate occurred at this stage, with a percentage as high as 56.06%. This issue is critical, as it hinders users from completing the designed journey, thereby limiting business objectives such as increasing conversion rates and publishing more ideas on the dashboard.

Thus, further research is necessary to identify the root causes of user issues and pain points at this stage so that targeted improvements can be made effectively.
